The company behind the work
Punasaari Research is a product development, research and design business based in Vantaa, Finland, led by Kai Punasaari. Our portfolio includes Somemind AI, GlycoCam, Koti niin!, SampoAgent and Ragebait Critic.
Our practical work spans AI-assisted automation, software products and client websites. We distinguish delivered work, products in development and future research interests. The separate diabetes research proposal is seeking funding; it is not a clinically validated treatment.

A carbohydrate counter in development for people living with diabetes, using embedded Gemma 4 AI to support food interpretation.
